RoSa Ghazaryan
Rosa Ghazaryan was born in Yerevan, Armenia, where she completed her education. From a young age, she had a strong passion for fashion.
In 1993, she moved to Vladikavkaz, Russia, and in 1997, she graduated with honors as the “Best Student of the Year” from the prestigious Professional Academy of Tailoring. She specialized in fashion design, pattern making, drawing techniques, and garment creation.
After finishing her studies, Roza returned to Armenia, where she continued exploring her passion for fashion. Her career took her to Italy, where she was finally able to fully dedicate herself to her creative work.
In Venice, one of the world’s most famous cities for Carnival and costume art, she connected with top designers specializing in 18th-century costumes. This experience helped her refine her skills and deepen her love for historical fashion.
For two consecutive years, Roza served as the coordinator of the Russian Federation Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
She organized solo exhibitions in Venice, showcasing her work across Italy, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, and China.
In 2009, her costumes were worn by dancers from the Rome Dance Academy, and in 2016, she designed outfits for the winner of Missis Moscow.
Her deep commitment to fashion, tailoring, and design led her to enroll at the Venice Academy of Fine Arts in 2011, where she specialized in scenography.
Roza is widely recognized as a designer of exceptional elegance and expertise in historical costume creation.
She also developed an innovative technique for theatrical dance costumes, which she patented in Italy on February 2, 2009, under the name “Petal Dresses” (Patent No. RM2009A000048). This method was used to create the costumes for the “Cipollino” project.
